"Ribble Valley Enterprise Agency

says photographer

"I'd always wanted to work for myself and when I started getting asked to do photography jobs, it seemed the ideal time to make a change. Ribble Valley Enterprise Agency was on hand with advice and encouragement from the start," says Jeanette Dawson.
Jeanette's original idea was to build up a stock library. She had been a professional photographer for eight years and in that time had turned her lens to most things - weddings, press, PR, studio work and portraiture - and photographed everything from the royal family to bits of rubber. But the stock library is still something Jeanette will do when there's time. "Like many people I spend longer in front of a computer than actually 'doing'," she says.
Being a woman in what is usually seen as a man's world gives Jeanette a different perspective and she's always keen to bring a little imagination to her work. She's a licentiate member of the Master Photographer's Association, a guarantee of professional standards of work.
"This is an exiting time in photography with digital camera technology becoming seriously useful, and the internet providing both a new outlet for my work and a whole new marketing medium," concludes Jeanette.
