 "We started the business
in a barn 15 years ago
with financial help from the enterprise allowance and essential support from
the Ribble Valley
Enterprise Agency,"
says Geoff Strachan
of Printec.

Do you know how a golf ball is printed? Printec does - and has built a business on it.

Printing on curved and textured surfaces involves a process known as Pad Printing or, in European terms, Tampo Printing. The technique uses a silicone rubber pad to transfer ink from an etched printing plate onto the product. The pad forms to the contour of the product making irregular shaped items printable. All sorts of items can be printed to specific criteria - from promotional items such as wine glasses, to industrial products moulded in plastic or even stainless steel.

"We started the business in a barn 15 years ago with financial help from the enterprise allowance and essential support from the Ribble Valley Enterprise Agency," says Geoff Strachan. "The Agency is always there to support and act as a signpost to the benefits available to anyone interested or serious enough about their business."

Printec is serious about its business and has built it up over the years by providing excellent quality and service, treating customers' products with respect, and offering a service to make products stand out in the market place.
